La Valletta is located in Panzano (Community of Greve ) in the heart of the Chianti Classico region.
The beautiful village of Panzano is situated about 30 km south of Florence and 30 km north of Siena.
The drive from Florence airport to “La Valletta” takes about 45 min whereas the drive from Siena takes about 30 minutes.
La Valletta is uniquely located on the edge of the famous Conca d`Oro known for its beauty and excellent terroire.
From La Valletta you can easily reach the centre of Panzano (1 km) by foot , bicycle, or car – where you will find very good restaurants and some typical food and grocery shops.

Directions to reach La Valletta by car from Florence airport:
Drive to the expressway A1 and take the direction to Rome. Exit the expressway A1 at “Impruneta”. Then take the motorway to Siena and exit at San Donato.
Turn left and follow the main road (SP 76) in the direction of Castellina in Chianti for 3.7 km, until you see a church on the left hand side.
Turn left and follow the blue sign “Panzano” pass La Piazza and continue until you reach a bridge where you will find a sign pointing left to Panzano.
Cross the bridge and continue uphill until you reach Panzano.
Immediately past the white “Panzano” village sign you will see a blue sign “Mercatale” indicating a left turn. Take this left turn and continue for 1km to a roundabout and take the 3rd exit.
Continue on this road for about 500m, then turn left at the small church: here you will find the first black and yellow sign to “LA VALLETTA”.
Take the dirt road leaving the church on your right and carry on for approx. 800 m until you see another sign “La Valletta”.
Take the right-hand road uphill and after 80m turn right to the entrance “La Valletta”.
